What's New in DW 8.5.2 (incl. 8.5.1)? 

  • Client to server and server to client payloads have been optimized to use 30% - 50% less data.
  • Client does not poll for new data when not visible.
  • Mod Security module used to monitor and prevent attacks.

Bugs Fixed in DW 8.5.2 (incl. 8.5.1)

  • Security fixes.
  • Connector setting description tooltip incorrectly handles multiline text.
  • Connector upgrade does not detect all references to a grid calculation function column.
  • A pie chart that has all segments equal to zero has its bottom part cut off.
  • A bar/line chart may become not renderable after switching mode from line to bar and back in some situations.
  • Some unpublished changes in layout editor have not been checked when leaving the editor, allowing to silently discard them without asking.
  • Changing the color column on a word cloud source causes a server error.
  • Chrome 53 and Chromium 53 based browsers failed to render data in time line charts.
  • Layout editor does not correctly navigate to a specific item based on URI.
  • Display format on columns is not correctly respected if set via client settings on a grid calculation function in admin tool.
  • Upgrade process does not correctly upgrade sort columns.

What's Next?

​2Ring is currently working on introducing a concept of "talking heads." This will allow BU admins to define an agent segment to show a specific agent information (such as agent name, photo, agentID, extension, state with an icon tied to a specific agent state, ..). This feature should be released in early June 2022, and the 2Ring Team will demo this at Cisco Live! 2022 in Las Vegas.
