Corporate Address Book
Do not limit your use of the ‘Directories’ button to a list of local extensions and the well-known lists of missed/placed/received calls. Instead, let 2Ring IPPS collect contacts from multiple information systems and then search with ease within a directory structure (extensions, cell phones, partners, customers, etc.) on corporate IP phones and/or inIPPS Web Interface.
Corporate Synchronization
With its almost unlimited support for transformation rules, have IPPS automatically synchronized with almost any source of contact data: LDAP (MS Active Directory, OpenLDAP), DC directories on CUCM, MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, and many others.
Personal Address Book
Create an unlimited number of personal directories secured by PIN and share them with designated co-workers. Once created, they can be used as departmental directories for fast access to a set of contacts by a selected group of individuals.
Personal Synchronization
Import your personal contacts from MS Outlook (contacts stored on MS Exchange, Office365), Gmail, or an MS Excel file. Synchronization with Facebook allows adding profile pictures to already imported contacts.
Intelli Search
Speed up contact searches on IP phones. Just hitting a phone key once immediately associates the directory search with all the letters under the key. All that is left is to pick up the receiver and the number will be dialed.
Favorites
Add most called numbers to your personal Favorites address book. Such numbers are sorted in the way that you define, and you can access them (have them listed) on your phone without conducting any search.
Call History
Do you remember those mornings when your phone welcomed you with an empty list of placed, received, and missed calls? Those are over. With IPPS, you will not lose information about your calls once your phone is restarted or upgraded. Plus, if you use Cisco Extension Mobility, thanks to Call History, all of your directories will travel with you. If your network uses MGCP signalization, Call History has got you covered. From now on, the missed calls directory will include advanced CallerID information (name, surname, company) for all calls – yes, also for external calls, and yes, even if you are using MGCP signalization.
Caller Identification (CLIP/CLID)
Benefit from immediate caller identification on calls from your partners, customers, co-workers’ cell phones, and even family members. The more contacts stored in IPPS, the more calls are identified.
Phone Lock
Use a personal PIN code to stop unwanted calls from unattended desk phones.
Paging / Public Announcement (PA) System
Say no to analog paging systems. Page (do a live one-way voice broadcast) and / or broadcast a prerecorded announcement* to a named group of extensions. There is no easier way to call people to attend an impromptu meeting or provide emergency notification. *Prerecorded broadcasts are only available to customers with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
Push2Talk (Walkie-Talkie)
Push a button so others can hear you, and once you are done, push it again to let others speak. Messaging Text to internal IP phones and even to cell phones.* If you send similar messages often, you will appreciate the option of using templates that can be created in IPPS Web Interface. Plus, directly on a Cisco IP Phone, you can promote a message to become a message template. *Texting external numbers outside of your corporate network requires the presence of a 2N VoiceBlue Next (a GSM gateway) or a subscription service to a 3rd party service of an approved SMS service provider.
Cameras and Integration with Door Entry Systems*
Display images from IP (web) cameras on IP phones. Benefit from the automatic pop-up of live images on an IP Phone at the time of an incoming call from intercoms (door entry systems, door phones) at door or security entrances. *Integration with approved Door Entry Systems, such as 2N Hellios Vario. Presence of the CLID module is required.
Alerts
Have administrators, device owners or other specified persons notified about certain situations (e.g., a call to 911, a missed call from a particular client/number, an outbound call to premium numbers, an unusually long call, a number of parallel calls exceeding a predefined threshold,..). These alerts can be distributed by multiple channels - an email, a text message, an image on a phone, a prerecorded message, ringing; certain phone number, and/or the situation can cause voice paging or call drop (and multiple channels can be used for one alert.
Current Calls
View all current/ongoing/active calls at a certain moment. Yes, 2Ring IPPS offers a list of all current calls, even those that are just ringing. Call Reporting* IPPS offers an easy to use report listing all calls with rich filtering options, and so it is easy to find out who called whom in a specified time interval. *This is a very basic report, and for more advance call accounting needs, please check out 2Ring CALL ACCOUTING
External Call Control (Cisco UCM Only)
Call routing can be managed by 2Ring IPPS – calls can be rejected, diverted to a different number, sent to voice mail, etc., thanks to an unlimited number of defined rules right in IPPS. Most common usage scenarios include creating a directory that serves as a black list for inbound and/or outbound calls, or directing traffic according to a user’s status in MS Exchange Calendar (Busy/OFF/Tentative/Free event).
Easy Sign On*
If you are a heavy user of Cisco Extension Mobility, 2Ring IPPS Client will simplify the login process to a desk phone. In other words, it will automatically log you in to a phone once you login to your workstation. *ESO will use the wire connection between your PC/Notebook and your desk-phone (yes, in this release, your PC/Notebook will have to be connected to a switch that’s part of your Cisco IP Phone via a physical cable) to look for the desktop phone and for your credentials. Based on that info, ESO will apply your EM profile to the connected Cisco IP Phone.
