2Ring GADGETS for Cisco Finesse v2.3 is here!

2Ring GADGETS for Cisco Finesse version 2.3 is available as of today. To learn more, schedule a live demo over Cisco WebEx.

New Features

    • All gadgets support compatibility view in IE (important for customers with eGain)
    • All gadgets have been localized to Spanish


  • 2Ring infoPANEL Gadget 2.3 (includes 2Ring ORCHESTRATOR)
    • Call Trace Feature has been added. Events in call trace can be filtered by type and the filter persists between agent sessions.

  • New Workflow Actions and Events
    • New actions for sending custom trace messages to the call trace
    • New workflow event for handling the change in visibility of a tab of 2Ring BROWSER Gadget has been added. This allows the workflow to suspend polling for new data when DW is not visible in GADGETS (improved performance)


  • 2Ring TEAM Gadget v2.3
    • Transfer a held call (this is a missing feature in Cisco Finesse) to a contact/number found in AD or in PS search


Bug Fixes

  • When opening an IM chat, the browser no longer opens an empty tab
  • Dialing an invalid phone number now displays an error message


What's next? 

The above feature set has opened doors to adding even more exciting features in the very near future. Keep your eyes open for the following: 

  1. Current Call Profile App to allow supervisors to view current call info for every agent
  2. Calls in Queue - view a list of calls waiting in a queue with details about each call, let agents pick a call from the queue, or have supervisors assign a call from the queue to a specific agent
  3. a unified UI for all of our CRM integrations (Salesforce, SAP, MS CRM, Sugar,  ...) - these CRM integrations will be introduced in multiple stages
