2Ring MACC (Multitenant Admission Control Center) is a tool that provides for virtual splitting of Cisco IP telephony into multiple entities, such as companies / tenants and sites. It also makes day-to-day administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) much simpler.
In environments involving more than one company, each administrator of MACC is administrating one company or site. In this way, not only does each organization/site gain a higher flexibility and faster response time to requests for a change of settings (a possible example is a request to add a new phone), but most importantly, the main CUCM administrator is free from dealing with routine tasks while the CUCM installation is kept safe (thanks to rules built within MACC).
Using 2Ring MACC (Multitenant Admission Control Center), the routine administration of IP Telephony is so simple that even untrained (not Cisco certified) employees can do it. Thanks to this feature, MACC finds its place even when IP Telephony is only used by one smaller company and managed by one administrator. The administrator uses the benefits of simpler administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager and thus saves by not paying for configuration work done by Cisco certified administrators.

To bring an order into CUCM installation - phones, lines as well as an extension plan are assigned to each organization respecting preset limits
To set restriction of tenants' access to every service by a simple and efficient way
To arrange a simple and clear overview of phone call expenses thanks to a CallDetailRecords respecting organizational structure (in cooperation with 2Ring TAS - Call Accounting System)
To create a set of operations and delay their execution. It is possible to check the status of every operation through the user interface of MACC
To create a new company (tenant), site or a template in MACC and tie them to existing partitions, locations or device pools from CUCM

Share or Even Rent Your Cisco IP Telephony
Let MACC divide your Cisco IP telephony into an unlimited number of organizations, sites, and departments. In other words, you are able to share your Cisco IP telephony (and the administration of CUCM) with an unlimited number of tenant or site administrators. The ways of use are unlimited, but in the end, the result is always the same: requests from end users are handled closer to their source, and thus they are handled faster.
Keep Users Away from CUCM
To share Cisco IP telephony’s administration doesn’t automatically mean that you have to share access to CUCM with others. With MACC you will not have to worry that tenants or less skilled coworkers from a remote site could ruin your CUCM configuration. By filling out predefined filters in MACC, you control which settings, directories, services, etc. a particular tenant will be allowed to use. MACC will be always there to protect CUCM from harm.
Delegate Common Routine Tasks
Provide tenants with the flexibility they need while your hands remain free for crucial tasks. Using MACC, even a technically unskilled user can register a new phone, create a new CUCM extension, and start making calls in less than 5 minutes.
Enforce Enterprise Rules
Phone settings are applied according to preconfigured templates, which allows every tenant to preserve the same permissions, look and feel on all company phones. This allows all employees at a similar level in the company’s hierarchy to share the same services, directories, or even calling rights (css – Calling Search Spaces).
Increase Productivity of CUCM Administrators
You do not have to change phone settings one by one anymore. Use MACC to add new localities, to roll-out CUCM deployment to thousands of extensions, or even to apply company-wide changes. All of this is done much faster by using templates created by you and then applied to chosen devices. Moreover, the number of phones that will be affected doesn’t matter, since MACC contains a built-in throttling mechanism. MACC always asks CUCM to make only as many changes as it can handle at a given time, and thus stability of your CUCM is ensured.
Ensure Data Integrity
MACC uses Cisco AXL SOAP API (Web Service Implementation) for communication with CUCM. In other words, MACC does not directly modify CUCM data in any way and CUCM performs all the data changes on its own.
Use the Most Modern Technologies
MACC is a web-based solution built using the most advanced technologies including Microsoft .Net Framework and ASP.NET.
